In
the last few years, I've discovered amazing benefits (among them weight loss,
dramatic reduction of allergy symptoms, improved mental clarity)
to reducing carbohydrates in my diet (particularly processed carbs
such as white flour, and sugar - I still eat fruits, vegetables
and whole grains in moderation).
Unfortunately,
since I was a child, I have always LOVED to bake and
the basics of almost any baking recipe start with white flour and/or
sugar! So, I am experimenting with new low-carb recipes. I
prefer not to bother unless they are great-tasting (i.e. I could
serve them to anyone and they wouldn't realize they are low-carb).
Fortunately,
cooking (as opposed to baking) low-carb is fairly easy. Here are
