1999 Polaris Genesis FICHT (not mine pictured)

Unfortunately, this fun machine is also a money pit. It's great for water sports - it's 14 feet long so there's room to get the driver, spotter AND skiier with gear out to where you want to ski; its 1200cc engine pulls a competition slalom skiier out of the water (with spotter on the back) no problem.  But it's a first year model and had some expensive problems.  The worst was the computer - $,1300 - ouch!  Apparently, these were notoriously bad in the '99s and '00s.  Did Polaris do a recall?  No way!  BOOO!!!

However, now that it's fixed some friends and I have enjoyed it at the lake. Hopefully we'll have a few more weekends of fun before the cooler weather sets in and spoils our fun!
